Hera's Story

Hera is an absolute doll. This girl has had a rough time lately. We aren't sure what happened to her exactly. Was she over bred and of no use anymore? Was she bred with a larger dog and got injured and then discarded because she was of no use? Despite how humans have treated this girl, she is the most forgiving, resilient, fun, loving, strong-willed, fearless pup you will ever meet. Hera used a cart because he rear legs don't work. The vet isn't sure if this is permanent. With therapy, she may be able to regain strength in her rear legs, but it will take time and dedication on her new families part. Even if Hera never uses her legs again, this girl doesn't care. Her spirit keeps her going. She simply brings a smile to your face and reminds us of the beauty and unconditional love that a dog has.
