Update on old cat Tricks

She is still unbelievably here!I thank goodness everday!I just couldn't believe it,but I'm thinking her birthday will be coming up soon.It's just that wayyyy back when she showed up as a baby,I was younger and not as organized.I've GOT to look and look somemore until I can find pics of her,with actual DATES on them!
I checked her teeth,actually got a picture and her teeth are mostly gone,and the gums look pink.She ate some dry catfood yesterday.She must have really strong gums,that stuff is cruchy.Still feeding her canned mixed with water.I've been gonna try some moist soft food,but am kinda afraid too-don't want to mess with her system.Do you think that MIGHT upset her tummy!????Should I just stay with what I'm doing now????
Just had to tell you we are celebrating everyday my babygirl is here.
We had a long brush and cuddle session today,too.

hello booful ol girl.
teeth are overrated *grinning his toothless except for fangs grin*
i hoover up dry food, no problem. mom just lafs at me.
i think you should maybe try new foods a little bit at a time to see if they agree wit you.

Thanks!I just hope and pray that when she does have to go,it is gently and peacefully.
She must just have that long-life gene.She's just amazing.

Another update!Believe it or not!Tricks is STILL going and going!She is approx 26 now and it always freaks me out to think about it.
She is still seeking me out for attention and her canned food.LOVES to be brushed,etc.
I keep trying to find her a more comfortable catbed.She hates the newer ones,will only sleep her her old,ratty catbed.
She is just amazing.Sure has that Long-life gene.
Just had to share that she is still here and her normal abit senile,sweet old self.

Aww, if she likes her old cat bed, that's kind of sweet, isn't it? She must have it all broken in just the way she likes it. I think that's just cute! It always tickles me when pets let you know exactly what they want and how they want it. Takes the guessing out of it!

Thanks!I realize how lucky I am,everyday that she is here.I just thought she would like a softer bed,but no way!So-I will let her have her nasty ratty old bed,as long as she wants it!
She's sooo special.Everyday I treat her as the miracle that she is.
So far,so good!
